MADISON, N.J. – Darrin Boswell (Nottingham,
Md./Joppatowne), the leading scorer for Goucher this
season, is one of 12 players who earned spots on the 2008-09
All-Landmark Conference Men's Basketball Team, which was revealed
today.
In balloting by the conference's eight head coaches, Boswell was placed on the All-Landmark second team. The senior guard had 16 double-digit scoring performances during the season, including four games in which he surpassed 20 points, and he averaged 13.9 points per contest, making him the fifth-leading scorer in the conference.
He scored a career-high 29 points during a 78-64 victory over Marymount on January 6 by shooting 11-for-14 from the field, including 5-for-7 on three-point attempts.
In his two seasons at Goucher, Boswell scored a total of 559 points.
