Men’s Basketball Buried by VMI During Exhibition Match
LEXINGTON, Va. - On Sunday men’s basketball trekked to Virginia to take on the Division I VMI Keydets for an exhibition game. After 40 minutes of regulation play, the Gophers were defeated with a final score of 98-34.

Goucher was never able to take the lead during the game, but after only putting up 13 points in the first half, the Gophers nearly doubled their points in the second half, scoring 21.
Freshman Cameron Isaacs (Owings Mills, Md.) led the team with seven points. One of his four three-point attempts made it into the net, and he also made three field goals. Fellow freshman Steven Quintero (Coral Springs, Fla.) scored five points - one 3-pointer and two field goals. The Gophers also put up 20 points in the paint, scored 2 points on fast breaks, and grabbed 29 rebounds.
The Gophers will be back in action on Tuesday, November 13th at Gwynedd Mercy at 8 PM.
