Payton Flynn II joined the Goucher men's basketball staff ahead of the 2024-25 season.

Prior to Goucher, Flynn spent two years at St. John’s College High School as the head coach of the freshman and JV boys’ basketball teams. He was also part of the 2022-2023 WCAC Championship team led by coach Behan and O’Connor. Prior to SJC, he coached at International @ Largo High School where he was a varsity assistant and helped lead them to their first win in program history.

Flynn is currently the General Manager of Pro Skills Basketball DC where he coaches the 16U AAU team along with hosting skills clinics, community service initiatives, marketing efforts, and more.  

Flynn graduated from St. Vincent Pallotti High School in Laurel, Md. and played one year of Division III basketball at Keystone College in La Plume, Pennsylvania. When Coach Flynn is not on the court, he is spending time with his wife and two sons, Pharaoh and Phoenix.
