Men’s Golf Finishes Second at Thomas Jefferson Quad Match

On the day, the Gophers as the team shot a combined score of 312, besting Chestnut Hill (322) and host Thomas Jefferson (337) handily on the day. Wilmington took the top spot in the event, posting a combined total of 297.
Individually for the Gophers, first-year Evan Yue (Beijing, China) was the low scorer for the day, as he fired a five-over 77, which put him in a tie for fourth individually in the event.
Elsewhere, first-year's Wade Howard (Weston, Fla.) and Steph Lee (Manalapan, N.J.) both posted six-over 78's, while first-year Roberto Mikse (Fort Worth, Texas) finished with a seven-over 79. Rounding out the day for Goucher was first-year Joe Burns (Kinnelon, N.J.) who carded an 86 Tuesday.
The Goucher College men's golf team returns to action on Saturday, April 7 when they take part in the NYU Spring Invitational in Bloomfield, N.J.
