Yue Takes Landmark Conference Men’s Golf Athlete of the Week Honors

First-year Evan Yue (Beijing, China) was named the Landmark Conference's men's golf Athlete of the Week for the period ending March 31 on Monday.

Yue, who earned the Athlete of the Week award for the first time on Monday, fired a five-over par 77 on Tuesday at the ACE Club during a quad match hosted by Thomas Jefferson University. Yue's score put him a tie for fourth overall on the day in the event. The 77 for Yue was his second lowest score of the year, as well.

In the match, Goucher finished with a team score of 312, which bettered a pair of NCAA Division II schools on the afternoon in Chestnut Hill and host Thomas Jefferson.

Yue and the rest of the Goucher College men's golf team returns to action on Saturday, as they take part in the NYU Spring Invitational at the Forest Hills Field Club in Bloomfield, N.J.
