Men's Golf Finishes Fifth at Glenmaura National College Invitational
MOOSIC, Pa. - Playing on the same course in which they will take part in the Landmark Conference Championships next weekend, the Goucher College men's golf team put together a strong finish at the Glenmaura National College Invitational, placing fifth in a two-day event that wrapped up on Monday afternoon.

Overall, Goucher posted a two-day score of 625 (312-213) to place fifth and have the highest finish of any of the Landmark Conference teams that took part in the Invitational.
Individually, first-year Steph Lee (Manalapan, N.J.) found himself in the lead after Sunday's first round after firing a one-under 70. Lee fell back in the field after posting an 81 on Monday, but he still registered a top ten finish with a two-day total of 151 (+10).
Elsewhere, first-year Roberto Mikse (Fort Worth, Texas) finished 15th overall with a two-day total score of 154 (76-78). Rounding out the top finishers in the event for Goucher was first-year Evan Yue (Beijing, China), who placed in a tie for 20th with a two-day score of 159 (82-77).
The Goucher College men's golf team is now idle until Saturday, May 5th when they head back to Glenmaura for the start of the 2018 Landmark Conference Championships. The event, which will be hosted by the University of Scranton, concludes on Sunday, May 6th.
