Gopher B Team Slots Fourth at Cardinal Fall Classic
HAGERSTOWN, Md. - The Goucher College men's golf B team placed fourth out of nine teams at the Cardinal Fall Classic hosted by Catholic University on Saturday and Sunday at Black Rock Golf Club. The Gophers finished with a two-day total of 623, recording a 309 on Saturday and a 313 on Sunday.
First year Riley Ruby finished tied for 15th out of 60 individuals with a score of 152. He carded a 77 on Saturday and improved by two shots on Sunday. Classmate Mikolaj Pula shot 155 over two days and placed in a three-way tie for 18th, while Khai Buttner shot an opening round 76 and finished at 156 for the tournament.
Tyler Lynch shot 78 on Saturday and posted a two-day score of 160, while Zeer Vittadanont shot 81 in the first round and tallied 165 over 36 holes.
Goucher returns to action Sunday and Monday at the Golden Oaks Shootout at Golden Oaks Golf Club in Fleetwood, Pennsylvania.
