Gophers Compete at Mason-Dixon Collegiate Classic
WAYNESBORO, Pa. - The Goucher College men's golf team competed at the Mason-Dixon Collegiate Classic Saturday and Sunday at Waynesboro Country Club. The Gophers finished with a two-day score of 620 to place 15th in the 19-team field. Goucher's 303 on Sunday was a 14-shot improvement from Saturday, the largest improvement in the field.
Riley Ruby shot 74 on Sunday and finished with a two-day total of 153 to place tied for 37th in the 95-player field. Andy Hill Garcia posted a 78 on Saturday and a 77 on Sunday to finish at 155 for the tournament, while Khai Buttner and Evan Yue each finished at 157. Tejas Baichwal rounded out the Goucher finishers with a 162, including a 79 in Saturday's opening round.
Goucher returns to action on Thursday, October 12, competing in the Stevenson Fall Invitational at Piney Branch Golf Club.
