Ruby Leads Gophers in Round One of Mason-Dixon Collegiate

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Sophomore Riley Ruby fired a two-over 74 to lead the Goucher College men's golf team in the opening round of the Mason-Dixon Collegiate co-hosted by McDaniel College and Gettysburg College at Waynesboro Country Club on Saturday.

Ruby sits tied for 24th in the 98-player field.  He is currently tied with eight other players.  Ruby finished his round with five birdies.

Junior Andy Hill Garcia and sophomore Tyler Lynch each turned in rounds of 78 to sit tied for 52nd.  Mikolaj Pula carded an 80, while Gidi Katz rounded out the Gopher finishers at 87.

Goucher tees off at 8:45 am Sunday in the second and final round of the Mason-Dixon Collegiate.
