Gophers Finish 9th With Career Outing for Katz

CARLISLE, Pa. - The Gophers finished in 9th of 16 teams at the Carlisle Barracks in the Dickinson Spring Invitation this weekend. This finish came with a total of 624 points, after shooting a 319 in round one (3/22), and following up wiht a 305 finish in the second round.

The Gophers were led by sophomore, Riley Ruby who tied for 25th overall with a 152. He shot +3 in round one (75) and a +5 in the second round (77).

Senior, Gidi Katz followed closely behind Ruby, tying for 28th place after shooting a career low, 72, in round two. This performance came following his 82 stroke performance in round one.

The Gophers were rounded out by sophomore, Tyler Lynch (158/T43), sophomore, Mikolaj Pula (160/49) and first year, Mattias Hammendorp (165/T60).

Goucher travels to LedgeRock Golf Course in Mohnton, Pennsylvania to compete in the Alvernia Spring Invitational on Monday, March 31st.
