Senior Attackman Earns Second-Team RecognitionMay 3, 2007
ST. MARY'S CITY, MD — Dan Flamholz
(Baltimore, MD/Park School), Goucher's leading scorer this
season, is a second-team selection on the 2007 All-Capital Athletic
Conference Men's Lacrosse Team, which was revealed today.
The senior attackman supplied the Gophers with 29 goals and 16
assists for a team-leading total of 45 points. He concluded his
career as Goucher's all-time leader in assists (103) and only two
players in the history of the school's men's lacrosse program
accumulated more points during their careers than Flamholz
(195).
Flamholz was a first-team All-CAC attackman in both 2005 and 2006,
making him only the fourth player in program history to earn
all-conference recognition three or more times during his
career.
The Gophers won their final three games of the season to finish
above .500 (9-8) for the sixth time in Kyle Hannan's seven seasons
as head coach.
