MADISON, N.J. - Eleven men's lacrosse players were among the 36 student-athletes from Goucher who were recognized today by the Landmark Conference for academic accomplishments by being placed on the 2008 Spring Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll.

Eleven Players Represent Goucher's Men's Lacrosse Program

MADISON, N.J. - Eleven men's lacrosse players were among the 36 student-athletes from Goucher who were recognized today by the Landmark Conference for academic accomplishments by being placed on the 2008 Spring Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll.
The honor roll contains the names of 363 student-athletes of sophomore standing or higher from the eight member institutions who played one of the eight sports in which the Landmark Conference conducts a championship during the spring and who have achieved a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
The following men's lacrosse players represented Goucher on the 2008 Spring Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll: Dan Abrams (Dover, DE/Dover), William Beaver (Gaithersburg, MD/Urbana), Alex Boucher (North Wales, PA/Germantown Academy), Joey Cowen (Golden, CO/Golden), Brian Hoge (Crofton, MD/Arundel), Casey Hughes (Woodstock, MD/Mt. Hebron), Andy Nielsen (Wallingford, PA/Strath Haven), Adam Pietrocarlo (Hamburg, NY/Frontier Central), Dan Ross (Jarrettsville, MD/Gilman School), Ben Veldman (Western Springs, IL/Lyons Twp.) and Max Walters (Rocky River, OH/St. Ignatius).
The Landmark Conference, which includes eight like-minded institutions covering the mid-Atlantic region, has concluded its first year of competition.
