TOWSON, Md. - Funeral services for Matthew Lloyd Cartwright, who earned four letters playing lacrosse at Goucher from 1995-98, have been completed. Cartwright, 32, died yesterday at the Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pa.
Services will be held at The Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, located at Middletown (Route 352) and Knowlton roads, Middletown Twp., in Media, Pa., beginning at 11:30 a.m. Monday. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Interment will be in Middletown Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Elwyn, Pa.
Cartwright, who attended Penncrest High School in Media, served as a captain of Goucher's men's lacrosse team in 1996 and again in 1998. He was also elected as a class president.
In addition to his mother and a sister, Cartwright is survived
by his wife Alison Jaeger and a daughter, Eleanor Elizabeth
Cartwright.
