sport of men's lacrosse in the Landmark Conference today.
The latest honor, which covers the period from March 29-April 4, follows the sophomore attackman's four-goal, one-assist performance against the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. The Gophers defeated the Mariners, 11-7, to take over sole possession of first place in the Landmark Conference.
Averett, who extended his personal goal-scoring streak to 25 games, is the leading scorer in the Landmark Conference with 33 goals in 10 games.
