Goucher College Men's Lacrosse Season Opener At Gettysburg Moved To Tuesday Due To Weather Forecast

BALTIMORE, Md. – The Goucher College men's lacrosse season opener, originally scheduled for Wednesday, February 20 at sixth-ranked Gettysburg College, has been moved to Tuesday, February 19 due to an impending storm scheduled to hit the Mid-Atlantic area on Wednesday. Game time will be 3:30 p.m. from Shirk Field at Musselman Stadium.

The Gophers are coming off a 10-7 overall mark and 4-2 in Landmark Conference action in 2018. The squad advanced to the conference semifinals for the third time under head coach Brian Kelly. Goucher was picked fourth in the Landmark Conference preseason poll.

Gettysburg will be playing their second game of the season after defeating Messiah College 16-11 on Saturday.

The Gophers will play its first two games on the road and will make their Beldon Field debut against McDaniel on Wednesday, February 27. Game time is 7 p.m.
