Vadapalas Picks Up Assist on 15th Career Goal for Bull
SELINSGROVE, Pa. — By the time Goucher got on the scoreboard against Susquehanna in a Landmark Conference game this afternoon, the Crusaders had already stuck three goals and were on their way to a 4-1 triumph over head coach Bryan Laut's Gophers.
The goal senior forward Andrew Bull (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks West) tallied at 75:41 was his third of the season and 15th of his career, but it only reduced Goucher's deficit to 3-1.
Freshman forward Joey Vadapalas (New York, N.Y./Columbia Grammar & Prepatory) was awarded an assist on Bull's goal.
The Crusaders (8-3, 3-0 Landmark) took a 1-0 lead at 31:13 on an unassisted goal by Adam Matteo and a 2-0 advantage at 39:20 on a goal by Dean Hristopoulos. Before the first half came to a conclusion, Hristopoulos scored again (42:15) as Susquehanna was up 3-0 at the break.
The Gophers (4-9, 0-3 Landmark) were limited to one shot in the first half and, for the game, shots were 30-5 in favor of the Crusaders.
