Bio

Sean Peckham returns to the Goucher staff in 2014 for his second season as a graduate assistant coach. Peckham came to the Gophers after four winning seasons as a midfielder for Division I Lafayette.

Peckham was a three-time All-Patriot League and Regional All-American performer during his playing career with the Leopards, including first-team all-conference honors in 2010 and 2011. In his four seasons, Peckham registered 12 goals and 17 assists. He led the Leopards with five assists in 2012, helping Lafayette to a Patriot League Championship and a spot in the NCAA tournament. Peckham was the team’s assist leader in 2011 as well with six helpers, and he also earned a spot on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll that season.

The Warminster, Pa., native comes from an athletic family. His mother, Marykate, was a field hockey and softball player at Bloomsburg University while his father, Ted, played soccer at Bloomsburg. Peckham also has a brother, Connor, who is currently a sophomore tennis player at Wilkes University.

Peckham graduated from Lafayette with degrees in business and economics, and he is working towards his master's in athletic administration and leadership at Goucher. He has worked as a camp counselor at several youth soccer club camps in Philadelphia, and he currently coaches a club soccer team, Premier FC, in Baltimore. In his free time, Peckham enjoys watching soccer and playing tennis.
