Brian Kane Earns Landmark Men's Tennis Weekly Honors

TOWSON, Md. - Goucher College men's tennis senior Brian Kane (Philadelphia, Pa./Friends Select) was named the Landmark Conference men's tennis Athlete of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.

Kane was victorious in singles and doubles as the Gophers picked up their first win of the season, an 8-1 triumph over St. Mary's (Md.).  Kane recorded a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles and teamed with Omosesan Adebamgbe for an 8-4 win at No. 1 doubles.

The Goucher men's tennis team is back in action on Saturday when it hosts Marymount (Va.) in a 1 pm match at the Schroedl Tennis Center.
