ORLANDO - The Goucher College men's tennis team was swept by Hamilton College 9-0 Monday afternoon at the USTA National Tennis Center.
The Continentals (6-3) jumped out to a 3-0 lead after doubles and took all six singles matches from Goucher (3-5) in two sets.
Calis Nguyen and Gabe Naftoly battled at No. 1 doubles before falling 8-5. At No. 1 singles, Unai Laguardia Alvarez dropped a 6-4, 6-3 decision.
Goucher is set to play a pair of matches at the National Tennis Center on Tuesday. The Gophers take on Oglethorpe at 8 am and Huntingdon at noon.
