El-Khoury Places 11th in 800 Meters, 13th in Mile

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. — George El-Khoury (Cranford, N.J./Cranford) finished just outside the top 10 in two events at today's Bow Tie Classic, the first meet of Goucher's 2015-16 indoor season.

The junior placed 11th overall in the 800 meters and 13th in the mile. He was clocked at 2:10.07 in the 800 and 4:56.55 in the mile.

Miles Taylor (Bowie, Md./Wakefield) posted the 10th-fastest time in the 60-meter dash in the history of Goucher's indoor track and field program. The freshman completed the event in :07.37, good for 20th place.

There was no team scoring.

Goucher will compete at the Dickinson Early Bird Invitational one week from today.
