CARLISLE, PA — Goucher earned a total of five points
today at the Winter Classic — four for placing fifth in the 4
x 800-meter relay and one for placing eighth in the 400-meter
dash.
In the final team standings, Goucher was in seventh place.
Harrison Tucker (Clarksville, MD/Cairo American
College) represented Goucher in the 400 where he placed
eighth with his time of 1:01.32.
Matt Tilghman (Charlottesville, VA/St.
Anne's-Belfield) was part of Goucher's 4 x 800 relay team
that posted a time of 9:20.84. He also turned in the second-fastest
indoor time in school history in the 3,000-meter run, finishing in
10:07.00 and 10th place.
