Sullivan Leads Men’s Track & Field in Outdoor Season Opener at York
YORK, Pa. - First-year Brian Sullivan (Lake Forest, Ill.) had high finishes in a pair of events on the evening to pace the Goucher College men’s track & field team in their 2018 outdoor season opener at the York Twilight Meet on Wednesday evening.

On the night, Sullivan placed seventh in the 200-meters, crossing the finish line in a personal-best time of 23.61. He also placed 15th in the 100-meters, finishing in 11.81.
Elsewhere on the track, first-year Devon Esslinger (Las Cruces, N.M.) was impressive in the 110-meter hurdles in the first meet of his collegiate career, finishing eighth in 18 seconds flat. Meanwhile, first-year Max Levy (Owings Mills, Md.) posted a personal-best time of 5:36.24 in the 1500-meters, as well.
In field events, sophomore Darby Bauer (Perkiomenville, Pa.) finished ninth in the javelin to round out the high finishes on the night for Goucher, posting a 129 foot, 11-inch effort.
The Goucher College men's track & field team returns to action on Saturday, April 7 when they travel to Mary Washington for the Battleground Relays.
