Three Seniors Follow Jennings Across Finish Line

Jennings completed the 8,000-meter race in 27:36, which is the 50th fastest time in the history of Goucher's men's cross country program for a race of that distance. He wound up in 154th place in the field of 365 runners.
Hugh Geller (Devens, Mass./Francis W. Parker Charter Essential School) was the next runner for the Gophers to cross the finish line, doing it in 28:07 for 189th place.
Matt Forgues (Boothbay, Maine/Boothbay Region) and Troy Browne (Springdale, Md./C.H. Flowers) followed in 242nd and 282nd place, respectively. Forgues was clocked at 29:02 and Browne at 29:49.
The No. 5 runner for the Gophers today was junior Zachary Byrum (Stafford, Va./Brooke Point) in 294th place. He turned in a time of 30:12.
Bobby Over from Allegheny was the individual champion as he posted a time of 24:29.
The Gophers earned 1,140 points today and placed 38th out of the 54 teams that had at least five finishers.
