Jennings Finishes Achtzehn Classic in 38th Place

Jennings completed the 8,000-meter race in 30:31.30, good for 38th place overall.
Four spots further back in 42nd place was teammate Zachary Byrum (Stafford, Va./Brooke Point), who turned in a time of 30:43.70.
The other two runners for the Gophers were a pair of freshmen who were running their first race as a collegian at this distance. Griffin Stein (Westport, Conn./Staples) finished in 53rd place with his time of 31:46.90; Dietrich Pultinas (Roxbury, Mass./Brimmer and May School) followed in 62nd place (34:45.60).
The first collegiate runner to complete the race was Collin Chartier from Marymount. He was clocked at 27:22.60.
With only four runners competing, Goucher was not awarded a team score.
