Stein Turns In Time of 30:18 in Paul Short White Race
BETHLEHEM, Pa. — A freshman was the first runner from Goucher to cross the finish line, but a senior followed only 13 seconds later in the College Men's White 8,000-meter race this afternoon at the Paul Short Run.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. — A freshman was the first runner from Goucher to cross the finish line, but a senior followed only 13 seconds later in the College Men's White 8,000-meter race this afternoon at the Paul Short Run.
First place went to Paul Juelis from Ramapo, who completed the race in 25:53.
Griffin Stein (Westport, Conn./Staples) was clocked at 30:18, good for 156th place in a field of 225 collegiate runners. Zachary Byrum (Stafford, Va./Brooke Point) was seven spots back in 163rd place with his time of 30:31
The Gophers, who will run in the Goucher Cross Country Classic next weekend, had one fewer runner than necessary in order to compete in the team scoring.
