Where's the next place on your travel bucket list and why?
One place I've always wanted to visit is Monaco because of the beautiful scenery and history. Ultimately, though, it's because of the Monaco Grand Prix, which is one of the best Grand Prix's in the series.
What was the last show you binge-watched?
Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness
Do you have a favorite holiday? Why or why not?
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays because when I was little I would go to my grandparents' house and dress up for a parade that their town would do. I also really like Halloween movies such as Halloween Town, Hocus Pocus, and Beetle Juice.
What song always gets you on the dance floor?
Wanna Dance with Somebody by Whitney Houston.
Do you hit the snooze button or wake up immediately?
I immediately hit the snooze button and will continue to for another three alarms before actually waking up.
When making a PB&J sandwich, do you put on the peanut butter of jelly first?
So, I never actually ate PB&J as a kid and I'm still not a huge fan.
If you could own a mythical creature (unicorn, phoenix, etc.), which one would you pick?
I would pick a unicorn because I've always loved horses and a unicorn is like a special limited edition horse.
What can you eat for a week straight?
I could either eat any Italian food or Oreos. However, only Oreos chocolate and no other chocolate because I don't like it.
Favorite superhero/heroine and why?
I'll always choose Iron Man because he doesn't have any super powers gained through some sort of experiment or accident, he just had his brains so I considered him the most human. Tony Stark is also incredibly sarcastic and I always enjoyed his personality. Furthermore, Tony Stark was insanely rich and drove amazing cars which I thought was great. Lastly, I think Robert Downey Jr. was destined to play that role because they are so similar and he made the character legendary.
Does pineapple belong on pizza?
Never, absolutely not!
WhyD3 Questions…
Why did you decide to attend (school)?
I decided to attend school because I wanted to become the first in my family to graduate from college. I also felt that going to Goucher College was a great opportunity for me to really learn more about myself, but also to prepare me for a post-education life.
What makes being a Division III student-athlete special?
Being a Division III student-athlete is special for a few reasons. One, besides being a college athlete you are also a student, and I think figuring out how to handle being both is a great way to learn personal responsibility. Two, the caches, trainers, and other staff you meet within the division and at school are really there to help you in your college career. They want to see you succeed, and they will do anything to help you in that journey. Lastly, being a division III student-athlete allows me to compete against some really strong athletes, but I can still have fun while doing it.
What is the best advice you can give another athlete?
Enjoy every moment regardless if it's good or bad, because you never know for sure when it will be your last day as a division III student athlete.
This or That…
- Morning, noon, or night? Night
2. Burgers or tacos? Burgers
3. Pool or ocean? Pool, the sand annoys me every time
4. Marvel or DC? Marvel, DC never had a chance at being better than Marvel
5. Star Wars or Star Trek? I actually love both but Star Trek the original TV series from the 1960s will always be one of my favorite TV shows. Also, the original Star Wars movies are way better than the current ones.
