Thornton-Fillyaw Cops Second Landmark Track Athlete of the Week Honor

TOWSON, Md. - For the second time this season, Goucher College women's track and field sophomore Tanise Thornton-Fillyaw was named the Landmark Conference Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, it was announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Thornton-Fillyaw finished first in a pair of events at the Lebanon Valley Dutchmen Invitational on Friday evening. She took first place in the 300 with a time of 44.15 seconds, while in the mile Thornton-Fillyaw clocked a time of 5:27.05 to take top honors.
Goucher is slated to return to action Saturday at the Cardinal Classic hosted by Catholic at the PG Sports and Learning Complex beginning at 10 am.
