Gophers Earn 7 Podium Finishes at the Dutchman Classic

Annville Pa,- Goucher traveled to Lebanon Valley College for the Dutchman Invitational where freshman Nancy Nyadongo took first place in the women's 55 meters. Followed by sophmore Ajani Landy making a third place finish in the men's 55 meters.

The women took another first-place finish with Aryanna Paulena in the long jump. Nehemiah Covington had another first-place shot put finish with a 13.47-meter toss. Covington also had a second-place weight throw finish. Both men and women had first place triple jump finishes by Lyndon Amoateng and Paulena. Freshman JaKiya Allen secured a fourth-place finish in the women's weight throw and a fifth-place finish in shot put. 

The Gophers return to action Saturday, January 18th at the Cardinal Classic. The meet will be held at the Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex in Landover, Md.
