Three Gophers Named to USTFCCCA All-Region
New Orleans- This week the USTFCCCA announced the 2025 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field All-Region picks. There were three Gophers on that list for this season. Two freshmen have had great indoor seasons so far. Nancy Nyadongo was named to All-Region in three events. She made it in the 60 meters with her personal record of 7.68 that she ran at the Landmark Conference Indoor Championship. Nyadongo also was named for the 200 meter after her time of 25.09 that was also at the Championship meet that won her first place. Last event she was named All-Region for was the 400 meters with her time of 58.34. Another freshman who had a big indoor season was Aryanna Paulena who was named All-Region to three jumping events. She received the acknowledgement for the high jump after her season best distance of 1.60 at the Landmark Indoor Championship that earned her first place. She was named for pole vault where she hit a personal record of 12' 0.75 this season. Lastly, she was acknowledged for triple jump after personal record distance of 11.72 meters. The last Gopher to be named All-Region is Tanise Thornton-Fillyaw for the 800 meters. She has been a dominant runner in this event through her time at Goucher. She hit her season record time of 2:09.06 at the Landmark Conference Indoor Championship winning first. Tanise will be competing in the 800 meter this weekend at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championship where she is the No. 1 seed.
