Track & Field Competes At Coach Pollard Invite
Bethlehem, PA.- The Gophers traveled to Moravian University to compete in the Coach Pollard Invitational. Goucher's first podium finisher was Nancy Nyadongo in the 100-meter dash winning with a time of 12.23. She had another first place finish in the 200-meter dash. In the women's 800-meter Terrica Thornton-Fillyaw placed second with a time of 2:19.04. In the women's triple jump Aryanna Paulena placed third with a jump of 37' 7''. In the men's 800 meter run Jayden Keels placed fifth with a new season best of 1:56.45. Jair Smith also had a season best in the 800 with a time of 2:00.63. In the men's 3000 steeple chase Sam Dylan set a new personal record. Emmanuel Olarewaju showed up for the Gophers in the 400-meter dash. In the women's 200-meter dash Tamryn Thornton-Fillyaw accomplished a new season best with a time of 28.06.
The Gophers will be competing this Saturday at the Hopkins/Loyola Invite.
