Tanise Thornton-Fillyaw Adds Another All-American Accolade to Career

GENEVA, Ohio - With Day 3 of the 2025 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships underway, came the finals for the 800m. This included junior, Tanise Thornton-Fillyaw.

Thornton-Fillyaw was seeded first going into today's race, after her finish of 2:09.23 in the second heat of the prelims. She held her position throughout most of the race, while Kelty Oaster of Elizabethtown and Megan Bell of Rochester finished with personal bests, setting records at the DIII level for the first and second spots. Thornton-Fillyaw finished third with a time of 2:08.43, to add yet another All-American accolade to her career.
