Gophers Finish Strong Against the Rosemont Ravens

TOWSON, Md.- The Gophers pursue a winning streak coming out on top over the Rosemont Ravens 122-32 this Wednedsay on their home court. Leading to their sixth time scoring 100 points this season.
- The Gophers (7-3, 1-3 Landmark) create an early 36-5 lead in the first quarter. Baskets by Amira Whitaker and Lauryn Towns.
- Rosemont (0-11) put 20 points on the board being led by Danaijah Wise.
- Goucher maintained their lead ending the quarter 56-20.
- Goucher began the quarter with a 3-point shot from Leila Townsend followed by an offensive rebound and lay up from Maiya Villanueva.
- Wise from Rosemont, responds with a jumpshot early in the second quarter.
- The Gophers advance their lead 56-20 going into halftime.
- Goucher started the half with a steal by Nia George resulting in a layup, Briyah Haggins following up with a 3-point shot in the first minute.
- Yanae Edwards fights back for Rosemont making a layup with 5:14 left in the quarter.
- The Gophers end the quarter up 93-24.
- The Gophers continued to extend their lead with 3-point shots made by Meona Boykin and Ava Cox.
- Goucher ended the game tying their record for 42 steals in the game, ending with a 122-32 victory.
- Boykin led the gophers with 21 points followed closely by Whitaker scoring 20 points.
