First-year Emmie Starchvick (Jacksonville, Ore.) (90) led the way for the Gophers in their first round of Goucher golf history.
"I putted well today and was able to hit a lot of nice shots. Overall, I'm happy with how I played on this length golf course," Starchvick said.

"Today was a positive first step as we begin the journey of developing this team. The women are already starting to show some of their development and we just need to keep going at it," said Coach Brown. More results to follow.
