Pevey Leads Goucher Women's Golf At Jefferson Tri-Match No. 1
LAFAYETTE HILLS, Pa. – Christina Pevey (Post, Texas/Post) finished sixth to pace the Goucher College women's golf team at the Jefferson Fall Tri-Match No. 1 on Sunday.
Pevey, a two-time All-Landmark Conference first-team selection, shot a 99 to finish in sixth place, seven strokes behind the medalist.
Randi Marshall (La Quinta, Calif./Half Moon Bay) (8th place, 101), Paige Harper (Lebanon, Ohio/Lebanon) (10th place, 108) and Grace Klain (Reno, Nev./Yerrington) (13th place, 137) all made their collegiate debut in the event and rounded out the Gophers competitors.
Jefferson University won the tri-match with a score of 375 while Goucher posted a 445 in the event. Cabrini had three competitors, but did not have enough players to register a team score.
The Gophers return to action at the Eastern Fall Invitational on October 9.
