Marshall Leads Goucher Women's Golf After First Round Of Landmark Conference Fall Preview
QUEENSTOWN, Md. – Randi Marshall (La Quinta, Calif./Half Moon Bay) finished fifth to lead Goucher College to a fourth-place standing after the first round at the Landmark Conference Women's Golf Fall Preview on Saturday.
Marshall shot a 95 to finish six strokes behind the leader in fifth place at the fall preview of the course the Landmark Conference will use for the Landmark Conference Championships in May.
Emily Pochet (Royersford, Pa./Pennsylvania Leadership Charter) placed 11th with a round of 97 while Christina Pevey (Post, Texas/Post) (17th place, 103) and Grace Klain (Reno, Nev./Yerrington) (27th place, 127) rounded out the Gophers competitors.
Drew University leads the team competition with a score of 368, eight strokes ahead of Catholic (376) while Scranton (401), Goucher (418), Juniata (424) and Elizabethtown (582) rounded out the six teams that fielded enough players to record a team score.
