Gophers Open Women's Golf Season Against Catholic
COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Goucher College women's golf team opened the season with a dual match loss to Catholic by a 332-432 score at the University of Maryland Golf Course Saturday afternoon.
Junior Randi Marshall (La Quinta, Calif. / Half Moon Bay) and freshman Karlie Zamora (Linthicum Heights, Md. / North County) each carded a 91 to lead the Gophers in their first outing of the season.
Maddie Agrusti (Elkridge, Md. / Howard) and Grace Klain (Yerrington, Nev. / Nevada Connections Academy) each finished at 125, with Molly Smith (Damascus, Md. / Damascus) carding a 131. Smith was competing as an individual for the Gophers.
Goucher returns to action Monday, September 27, when it competes at the Stevenson Fall Invitational at Piney Branch Golf Club in Hampstead, Md.
