Zamora Finishes Second, Gophers Compete at Hood Invitational

IJAMSVILLE, Md. - Karlie Zamora (Linthicum Heights, Md. / North County) finished second as the Goucher College women's golf team finished third at the Hood College Invitaitonal at The Club at P.B. Dye Tuesday afternoon.

Zamora carded an 85 to finish two strokes behind winner Lauren Lombardo of Catholic.  The 85 was a collegiate-best round for the freshman.

Randi Marshall (La Quinta, Calif. / Half Moon Bay) posted a 96 to tie for eighth.

Grace Klain (Yerrington, Nev. / Nevada Connections Academy), Maddie Agrusti (Elkridge, Md. / Howard) and Molly Smith (Damascus, Md. / Damascus) rounded out the Gopher finishers.

Goucher returns to action Saturday, October 16, traveling to the Landmark Conference Fall Preview at Northwest Golf Course in Silver Spring, Maryland.
