Schenk Sets Single Round Program Record, Records Another Top 10 at Cardinal Classic
HAGERSTOWN, Md. - First year Iseline Schenk (Bergen, Netherlands / Murmellius Gymnasuim) of the Goucher College women's golf team placed 10th overall at the two-day Cardinal Classic hosted by Catholic University Saturday and Sunday. She carded a single-round program record 82 on Sunday.
The Gophers finished seventh with a two-day score of 790.
Schenk recorded her fourth top 10 of the season with a two-day score of 169, recording an 82 on Sunday. Her 82 ties the program record held by Emmie Starchvick and Christina Pevey, both set in the spring of 2019.
Classmate Keeli Satterfield (Portland, Oregon / Valley Catholic) recorded a two-day score of 189, shooting a 92 on Saturday. Maddie Agrusti (Elkridge, Md./Howard) finished at 212 for the tournament.
Grace Klain (Yerrington, Nev. / Nevada Connections Academy) carded a 112 on Saturday to round out the Goucher finishers in round one. Molly Smith (Damascus, Md./Damascus) was the Gophers' fourth scorer on Sunday, posting a 108.
The Cardinal Classic closed out the fall portion of Goucher's schedule.
