Schenk Fires Program-Record 79 to Close Out Golden Oaks Shootout
FLEETWOOD, Pa. - Sophomore Iseline Schenk shot a single-round 79 Monday en route to a ninth-place finish as the Goucher College women's golf team competed at the Golden Oaks Shootout hosted by Arcadia University at Golden Oaks Golf Club Sunday and Monday. The Gophers finished fourth out of seven teams with a two-day score of 769. Goucher's score of 368 (+80) on Monday is the fourth-lowest single team round in the six-year history of the program.
Schenk bettered her own single round record of 81 set last season by two shots. On Monday she had two bogeys, one double bogey and one triple bogey while recording par on the other 14 holes. She finished tied for ninth with Ashley Ea of Cabrini with a two-day total of 175.
Keeli Satterfield placed tied for 18th after finishing at 184 over two rounds, shooting a 91 on Monday to improve by two shots. Maddie Agrusti finished at 101 Monday and 204 for the tournament.
Molly Smith shot 97 in Monday's second round and finished at 206 for the weekend. Jilli Spooner rounded out the Goucher finishers.
Goucher returns to action Thursday, October 12 when it competes in the Stevenson Fall Invitational at Piney Branch Golf Club in Upperco, Md.
