Schenk Opens Spring With Fourth-Place Finish at Sandhills Splash
SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. - Goucher College women's golf sophomore Iseline Schenk registered a fourth place finish as the Gophers opened the spring portion of their schedule at the Sandhills Splash at the Longleaf Golf and Family Club on Monday and Tuesday. The Gophers finished fourth with a two-day total of 803, including an opening round 389 on Monday.
Schenk recorded a two-day total of 169, posting an 84 on Monday and an 85 on Tuesday. She edged fifth place finisher Hannah Rizzo of Bridgewater (Va.) by two shots.
Classmate Keeli Satterfield finished tied for seventh after a two-day score of 176. Satterfield was tied for second after Monday's opening round in which she posted a career-best round of 82.
Maddie Agrusti finished 16th with a two-day score of 203, while Jilli Spooner placed 18th.
Goucher returns to action March 23-24 at The Ruckus in Williamsburg, Virginia at Williamsburg National Golf Club.
