Gophers Move Up to Fifth at The Ruckus
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Goucher College women's golf team improved by 19 shots in day two of The Ruckus at Williamsburg National Golf Club to move into a tie for fifth place out of seven teams. The Gophers, who shot 453 on Saturday, improved to 434 on Sunday for a two-day total of 887 to tie with Husson University.
York (Pa.) placed first with a two-day total of 673. Megan Joyce of Washington & Jefferson took medalist honors with a two-day score of 157.
Iseline Schenk shot 92 on Sunday, improving her round by 10 strokes, and finished at 194 to place 17th overall. Keeli Satterfield placed 22nd after carding a 105 Saturday and a 108 Sunday, while Maddie Agrusti was tied for 23rd with a two-day 219. Jilli Spooner came in 31st place.
The Goucher women's golf team returns to action April 6-7 at the Catholic Spring Classic at Black Rock Golf Club in Hagerstown, Md.
