TOWSON, Md. - The Goucher College women's golf team will compete at the 2024 Landmark Conference Women's Golf Championship on Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28 at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort in Shawnee-on-Delaware, Pennsylvania. A dual championship with the Landmark Men's Golf Championship, women's play kicks off at approximately 11:30 am both days on the par-72, 5789-yard layout.
Goucher was selected to finish fourth in the Landmark pre-championship poll released last week, behind Catholic University, Drew University and the University of Scranton. The Gophers finished fourth at the Landmark Preview in October at Shawnee.
The Gophers are coming off a third-place finish in their last tournament, taking third out of eight teams at the Stevenson Spring Invitational on Monday.
Goucher's lineup consists of sophomores Iseline Schenk and Keeli Satterfield, juniors Maddie Agrusti and Molly Smith and first year Jilli Spooner.
Schenk and Satterfield each earned Landmark Second Team All-Conference honors last season as first years, with Schenk placing 10th and Satterfield 12th in 2023. Schenk (89.6) and Satterfield (98.5) own the top two averages on the Gophers, with Schenk finishing seventh at the Landmark Preview.
Agrusti and Smith have each posted a pair of top-10 finishes this season, while Spooner has competed in eight events to date.
Goucher finished third at the Landmark Championship in 2023 and has placed at least third in four of the first five Landmark tournaments held. The Gophers came in second in 2021.
