Gophers Take Third at Drew Birdie Bash
FLANDERS, N.J. - The Goucher College women's golf team finished third out of five schools competing at the Drew Birdie Bash Wednesday at Flanders Valley Golf Course. The Gophers finished at 431 behind the host Rangers and the University of Scranton.
Senior Maddie Agrusti led the Gophers as she placed 11th overall with a score of 100. Jilli Spooner carded a 108 on the afternoon on the par-72 course, while Molly Smith finished one shot behind Spooner at 109.
Katie West (114) and Katelynn Roberts (116) rounded out the Gopher finishers.
Goucher is next in action on Saturday, October 12 when it faces Stevenson and Catholic in a tri-match at Pine Ridge Golf Course in Timonium, Maryland.
