Agrusti and West Finish in Top Three Against Wilkes

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Goucher College Gophers traveled to face the Wilkes University Colonels. The Gophers came up second shooting a 407 (+123 to par) on the afternoon, while Wilkes shot a 395 (+111 to par).

Maddie Agrusti came in second, behind Wilkes' McCance, after shooting an 88 on the afternoon. This came after shooting two birdies on the day. In the first 9 holes, she shot 13 over par, while she shot a 40 (+4) on the back half of the course. This marks a career low for Agrusti.

Katie West came in third overall, falling just behind Agrusti. She shot a 93 on the course. This was after a 48 on the first nine holes, and a 45 on the back half.

Jillian Spooner tied for sixth with Wilkes' Rebar, after shooting a 111. While Katelynn Roberts finished in ninth after shooting a 115. 

The women travel to compete at the Catholic Cardinal Classic on the Blackrock Golf Course on Saturday, April 5th and Sunday, April 6th.
