Tersigni Earns All-Region Recognition from IWLCA
CHESAPEAKE BEACH, Md. For the 15th consecutive year at least one player from Goucher earned all-region honors in the sport of women's lacrosse when the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association announced today that Marlo Tersigni (Boston, Mass./Lawrence Academy) was a second-team midfielder on the 2009 All-Boardwalk Region Women's Lacrosse Team.

CHESAPEAKE BEACH, Md. – For the 15th consecutive year at
least one player from Goucher earned all-region honors in the sport
of women's lacrosse when the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse
Coaches Association announced today that Marlo
Tersigni (Boston, Mass./Lawrence Academy) was a
second-team midfielder on the 2009 All-Boardwalk Region Women's
Lacrosse Team.
Tersigni, a senior who was also a first-team All-Landmark Conference selection this season, led the Gophers in assists (21), points (57), draw controls (66) and caused turnovers (41) and ranked second in goals (36). Nationally, she ranked seventh in caused turnovers (2.64 per game) and 11th in draw controls (4.71 per game) in Division III.
The IWLCA bestowed all-region recognition on a total of 224 Division III student-athletes.
