TOWSON, Md. — Erin Reifsnyder (Austin, Texas/St. Andrew's Episcopal) put Goucher up 6-5 late in the second half, but Susquehanna took control from there, earning the victory.
#11 Susquehanna (15-0, 4-0) remained undefeated to clinch the top seed in the Landmark Conference playoffs.
Hannah Khin (Portsmouth, N.H./Portsmouth) scored the first two goals of the game to put Goucher (7-9, 0-4 Landmark) up early.
Susquehanna scored the next three to get on top, but Rita Meissner (Yonkers, N.Y./Yonkers) and Khin strung together a pair of goals to put Goucher back ahead.
A final goal from the Crusaders just before half put the teams level at the half.
After a Susquehanna goal, Anneke Ossorio (Lafayette, Colo./Kent Denver School) and Reifsnyder each tallied for Goucher to put Goucher up 6-5, but the next eight goals each went the way of the visitors.
Megan Meluskey (Wilmington, Del. / Concord) finally broke the run, but it was too little too late.
Khin finished the day with three goals, giving her 208 on her career. She finishes fifth on Goucher's all-time goal scoring list.
