GRAND LAKE, Colo. — The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association released its 2014 Division III Academic Honor Roll this morning, with Goucher's Erin Reifsnyder (Austin, Texas/St. Andrew's Episcopal) among the players recognized.
To earn inclusion on the list, student-athletes must have achieved at least junior status academically and have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher.
Reifsnyder, a senior midfielder on Goucher's 2014 squad, recently graduated with a 3.52 GPA while majoring in psychology. She was also inducted into Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology, and was a two-time member of the Landmark Conference Spring Honor Roll.
On the field, Reifsnyder experienced similar success during her career. She was named First-Team All-Landmark this spring after leading the Gophers with 44 goals, 20 assists and 51 ground balls. That recognition followed three consecutive seasons in which she landed on the conference's second-team.
A total of 364 student-athletes from 126 different institutions across Division III were honored by the IWLCA.
