Stull Nets Four for Women's Lacrosse in Season Opening Defeat at Neumann

ASTON, Pa. - The Goucher College Women's Lacrosse team (0-1) fell Saturday afternoon in their season opener to Neumann College 19-9.
How It Happened:
- Sophomore midfielder Shannon Stull (Westminster, Md.) led the Gophers with four goals and a ground ball. Stull was two goals away from tying her career game high of six goals, which she did against Gordon last season.
- Goucher's other five goals came from five different shooters. The scorers were: first-years Vida Fye (Takoma Park, Md.) and Camryn Agostino (South Setauket, N.Y.), and sophomores Gabrielle Umstead (Chadds Ford, Pa.), Lucy Keyser (Philadelphia, Pa.) and Alyssa Long (Pennsburg, Pa.).
- In between the pipes for the Gophers, senior goaltender Bridget Den Boer (Sparta, N.J.) had 16 saves. Den Boer was two saves away from tying her career game-high in saves of 18, which she had last season against Shenandoah.
- The Gophers won 12 out of 17 draw controls during the contest.
