HUNTINGDON, Pa. - The Goucher College Women's Lacrosse program (1-10, Landmark 1-2) comes out of Pennsylvania with a victory over Landmark Conference opponent Juniata College, defeating the Eagles 11-10.
How It Happened:
- The Gophers and Eagles traded goals back and forth all game.
- Sophomore midfielder Shannon Stull (Westminster, Md.) lead the Gophers with five goals, four groundballs and and two caused turnovers. She tied her season game-high of five goals, her first being against Gwynedd Mercy.
- First-year midfielder Soleil Gagne (Portsmouth, N.H.) netted three goals, caused two turnovers, and nabbed three ground balls.
- Junior defender Maddie Hernandez (Pickerington, Oh.) scored a career game-high of two goals today. Her first goal came earlier this season against Frostburg St.
- In between the pipes for the Gophers, senior goalkeeper Bridget Den Boer (Sparta, N.J.) saved ten shots.
