Den Boer Finishes Off Historic Season in Goal, as Women’s Lacrosse Drops Finale at Moravian
BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Senior Bridget Den Boer (Sparta, N.J.) completed her historic 2018 campaign in between the pipes for the Goucher College women’s lacrosse team on Saturday at Moravian, as she made 10 saves on the day.

However, the host Greyhounds collected a 21-5 victory over the Gophers. With the loss, Goucher ends their 2018 season with a 1-14 overall mark and a 1-6 ledger in the Landmark Conference. Moravian improved to 11-4 overall and 5-2 in the Landmark with the win.
With 10 saves, Den Boer finishes her 2018 season with 260 saves, the second most in a season for a Goucher goalie in program history. The 260 saves are also a Landmark Conference single-season record, as Den Boer ends her Goucher College career with 581 saves, as well.
On the day, sophomore Shannon Stull (Westminster, Md.) finished off her banner season on the offensive end with a hat-trick. With three more goals, Stull ends the year with 43 goals, as she scored multiple goals in 12 of the 15 games the Gophers played in on the 2018 season.
Elsewhere, sophomore Gabrielle Umstead (Chadds Ford, Pa.) added a goal, as did senior Molly Brenton (Lancaster, Pa.), who tallied the fourth and final goal of her career in the loss.
Moravian was led on the day by Liz Bill, who had four goals and three assists.
